Takehiro Takahashi

Takehiro Takahashi is the Vice President and Global Head of Cybersecurity at Woven by Toyota.

With nearly 20 years of expertise in security engineering and risk management, Takehiro is a strategic leader dedicated to safeguarding Woven by Toyota from emerging cybersecurity threats. His focus is on ensuring the development and operation of secure, trustworthy products and services that meet the highest standards of customer trust. He believes that cybersecurity plays a critical role in shaping the future of safe and reliable mobility.

Takehiro joined Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development (the preceding company of Woven by Toyota) in 2019. Before this, his experience in cybersecurity was broad across both large organizations and startups. At Amazon.com, he contributed to architecting and building robust security infrastructure and managing cybersecurity business risks as the Information Security Officer for Amazon Japan. More recently, he led the cybersecurity program at a US-based fintech startup.

Takehiro holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is also an inventor with multiple patents in the cybersecurity field. Outside of work, Takehiro enjoys exploring new technologies and applying innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
