Jean-François Campeau

Jean-François Campeau is Head of Arene at Woven by Toyota.

Jean-François is a 20-year veteran systems engineer and executive with demonstrated skills in applied leadership, anticipating business opportunities and bringing them to market through innovation and collaboration with all stakeholders. He operated in large organizations as well as in startups, producing safe products that meet the highest standards of quality. He joined Woven Planet, now Woven by Toyota, in March 2021. He has gained first-hand experience in complex high-tech products by producing them and designing them as the Chief Software Architect at CAE, a world leader in simulation solutions for the aerospace industry. He also created his own Sino-Canadian startup before accepting a leadership role in another aerospace company, Axis Simulation.

Jean-François is a long-time committee member of the École Polytechnique de Montréal’s COCEP, a board that helps align software academic programs with the needs of the industry. He is also a member of the Engineering Professional Association of Quebec (Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec) and holds an engineering degree from the Université de Sherbrooke.
