Hiroshi Mushigami

Hiroshi Mushigami is Head of AD/ADAS at Woven by Toyota.

He is one of the founding members of Toyota Research Institute - Advanced Development (TRI-AD), which became Woven Planet, now Woven by Toyota. He is a strong believer in Public Interest Capitalism and is committed to solving social issues such as bringing transportation to mobility-limited areas, aging rural communities, and depopulated regions by utilizing automated drive technologies.

Mushigami started his career as an engineer in the automotive industry in 1994 and joined Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in 2001. His specialties are Powertrain, Vehicle Dynamics Control and E/E platform design. From 2008 to 2011, he worked for Toyota Motor Europe in Belgium. His last role in TMC was the Project General Manager for Strategic Planning and Electronics Control, which leads to his role as the COO of TRI-AD. He loves to have fun at Fuji Speedway with his sports car, and also loves to tour in the countryside with his motorcycles.
